Obituary

Mr. Kenneth R. Taylor 73 of Wellfleet died Monday morning November 21, 2011 at the Boston Medical Center in Boston following injuries sustained in an accident last week at his home. He was the son of the late William E. and Evelyn O. (Batt) Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a life long resident of Wellfleet and worked for the town on the highway department. He retired around 2000. He was an avid hunter and spent much of his free time in Maine hunting. He also enjoyed fishing in Wellfleet.
He is survived by his brother, William “Billy” Taylor of Orleans, his 2 sisters, Bernice “Bunny” Sturtevant of Wellfleet and Barbara Wilson of Seneca, Missouri. He was the brother of the late James Taylor and the late Beverly Maker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and was the uncle of the late Kenneth Taylor who died several years ago. A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 26th at 10:00am in the Wellfleet United Methodist Church 246 Main St. Wellfleet. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
