Mr. Jeremy J. Freitas, of Taunton, died unexpectedly Saturday, November 19 at his residence. He was the husband of Laurie J. (Souza) Freitas. He was born 36 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late Joseph N. and Mary L. (Reynolds) Freitas. He was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. He was formerly employed as a screen printer and was also employed as a construction worker. Jeremy was a member of the Italian Naturalization Club in Taunton, and the International Union of Electrical Workers. He enjoyed music, fishing, and was a New England Patriots fan.
In addition to his wife, he leaves: 1 son: Jeremy J. Freitas, Jr. of Taunton; 1 brother: Joseph Freitas and his wife, Zoraida of Norton; 1 sister: Darby Freitas of Taunton, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Italian Naturalization Club, 46 Wales Street on Saturday, December 3 at 4:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Arrangements are under the direction of The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home of Taunton.
