Maria C. (Connie) Raposo, age 80 of Somerset passed away after a brief illness November 22, 2011. She was the wife of Edward M. Raposo and daughter of the late Jacinto and Rose (Medeiros) Andrade. Born in Fajã de Cima, São Miguel, Açores, she had worked as a shirt operator at Shelbourne Shirt Co. and she also had worked at Neto Chourico Mfg. She was a parishioner of St. John of God Church.
She is survived by her son Mark Raposo (wife Teresa) of Windham, NH, sister of Linda Souza of Fall River and grandmother of Michael and Thomas Raposo and an aunt of 3 nieces. She was a twin sister of the late Odette Neto.
