Luther Doug Justice, 86, of Douglas, GA passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Justice was born on November 10, 1925 in Europa, MS to the late Luther Delmer and Lou Elsie Morgan Justice. He was preceded in death by his wife: Mildred Williams Justice; sister: Jerrie Floyd Crum; brother: Luther Howard Justice and grandson: Michael Carter. Mr. Justice was a self employed mechanic, Doug’s Garage; he was a veteran of World War II having served in the US Army Aircorps; he was a member of the American Legion in Waycross and he was of Baptist faith.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with burial following in the Meeks Cemetery, Nicholls, GA.
Survivors include: son: Mitchell Justice, Douglas, GA; daughter: Brenda Elaine Carter, Douglas, GA; brother: Thad Justice, Europa., MS; sisters: Vivian Bell, Mossy Head, FL and Bobbie Crum, Vardeman, MS; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Sims Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
