Nashville resident Gaylia O’Neill, age 79, died Nov. 17, 2011, after a lengthy hospital stay.
Mrs. O’Neill was born Oct. 1, 1932, in Nashville, TN., to Edna and George Parrish. Gaylia was a longtime Auto Owners employee retiring in 1999. Mrs. O’Neill spent more than 50 years in Tennessee.
She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Bailey and Ramona Pitt and sons Jeff O’Neill, Paul Pitt and Mark Pitt with 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grand children. Gaylia was predeceased by Kelly, her daughter and a infant name unknown. She was greatly loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Viewing will be held at Ellis Funeral Home from 1pm until 3pm on 20 November
with the service at 3pm.The burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery on 21 November at 11am.
