Evelyn Jean Vincent, 84 years, of Pinckney, Michigan died Sunday morning, November 13, 2011 at Country Manor Adult Foster Care in South Lyon, Michigan.
She was born September 19, 1927 in Louisville, Kentucky; the daughter of Newman and Gertrude Evelyn (Hunchman) Harrison. Jean married Harvey Vincent and he preceded her in death May 18, 1994.
Surviviors include her daughter, Jean (Chuck) Maxon of Sterling Heights; two sons, George (Shirley) Miller and Jeffrey (Marybeth) Miller both of Hamburg; her sister, Doris "Dots" Owen of Louisville, Ky.; four grandchildren, Soni (Norman) Jones, Matthew (Amy) Miller, Nick (Angela) Miller and Joshua Maxon; five great granchildren. Preceded in death by her husband; brother, Paul Harrison and sisters, Pauline Harrison and Mae Wright.
Jean retired from Thompson Shore as their Billing Analyst; she was a member and Past Matron for the Pinckney Order of Eastern Star #145.
Family will receive friends 1-4 and 5-8 PM Tuesday, November 15 at Shelters Funeral Home in Pinckney, Michigan where a O.E.S. memorial service will be held at 7PM.
Family will receive friends 1-4 and 5-8 PM Thursday, November 17 at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Louisville, Kentucky where the funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, November 18, burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
