Mr. Donald Norton, 82, passed away on Monday November 14, 2011, at his home. He was born on May 5, 1929 in Melrose, MA, the son of Lula E. and Carl O. Norton and was educated in the Everett, MA public school system, graduating in 1945. Prior to retirement in 1992, he worked in Customer Service with Brown Company, James River and Crown Vantage. For many years he served both as organist and treasurer of the United Church of Christ, Congregational in Berlin.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille (Boisvert) Norton, his son Christopher Norton and his wife Stephanie of Milan and two grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Friday morning November 18, from 9:00 to 10:30 at the Bryant Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Berlin. Rev. Fran Gardner - Smith, pastor will officiate Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
