Oehrle, Alfred (Fritz), 90, passed away November 13, 2011 at Meadowview Nursing Home.
He was a lifelong resident of Shively, KY. Fritz was one of ten children, born of Alfred & Magdelena Oehrle, Swiss immigrants, all predeceased.
The family owned and operated the now defunct Oehrle Dairy.
Al retired from International Harvester after 31 years service. He was the developer of the Oehrle Subdivision in Shively, served in the US Army, WW II (European Theatre), and is a current member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, American Legion Post # 220 and I-H Retirees Club. He also served on the Shively Volunteer Fire Dept.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Carolyn and an infant son, Richard.
He is survived by daughters, Linda Smith (Tom), Judee Richardson (Darrell) and Donna Nacke (John), 6 Grandchildren; Scott Smith (Stacey), Richard Walsh, Lisa Eaton (Mike), Drew Richardson, Meghan and David Nacke; 4 Great Grandchildren; Brennan & Kylie Walsh, Alyssa & Adam Eaton.

Visitation will be 5 - 7 PM Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 1925 Lewiston Dr., 40216, with the Funeral Mass immediately following.
Memorial gifts can be made to St. Lawrence Building Fund or Hosparus.
Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., has been entrusted with arrangements.
