LOWELL--Hazel Irene Towne of Lowell, widow of Ferdinand Manouk, died February 3rd, of complications related to a massive brain hemorrhage. Ms. Towne is survived by a son, Fred Manouk of Newton, Massachusetts; his daughters, Heather, Alanna, Robyn, and Kimberly, and Heather’s son, Joseph Ferdinand Deluca; and by a daughter, Lindajean Taylor of Torrance, California; her son, John Robert Thornton of Salem, Massachusetts, and his daughters, Kayla and Kelsey.
Ms. Towne, the 2nd oldest of twelve children is survived by her siblings, Eugene Towne of Derry, NH; Lorraine Brackett of Cape Cod, MA, Doris Deljanovan of Trout Run, Pennsylvania, and Evelyn Scannell of Tewksbury, Massachusetts.
A memorial service and a visit to the gravesite at Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield, are planned for May 18th, where Ms. Towne’s ashes are interred. No flowers, please.
