McGOWAN- Of Chelsea, March 9th, Bernice M. (Mullen). Devoted wife of the late Bernard J. McGowan. Beloved mother of Clyde Wyman of Georgia, George Wyman of Maine and Marie Gallant of Chelsea. Dear and loving sister of the late Harold Mullen and Roland Mullen. Also lovingly survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. At her request, Funeral Services are private. Bernice, age 89, passed away early Tuesday morning at the Eastpointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Chelsea after a long illness. Born in Oakland, Maine, she was a 50 year resident of Chelsea and was employeed as a sticher for Eagle Shoe and later as a glazier for American Optical.
