Jordan, Henry Charles, of Hanover, formerly of Wakefield, November 9, at the age of 87. Henry celebrated his 60th anniversary with his wife and his family members by his side, before passing peacefully the same day.
Henry was born in Medford, MA., the son of the late Raymond and Mary Jordan. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. This was followed by a Bachelor of Business degree from Boston University. Henry was faithful to God and his church, Tremont Temple Baptist Church, Boston, MA., where he met the love of his life, Ruth.
Henry was the beloved husband of Ruth Jordan for 60 years. Loving father of Douglas Jordan of Destin, Florida, Robert Jordan and his wife Mary Jean of Wakefield, Nancy Metcalfe and her husband Russell of Marshfield. Devoted grandfather of Jennifer and her husband Mathew, Melissa and her husband Jason, Russell, Timothy and Jonathan. Dear great grandfather of Jason David, Madison, Rowan and Annabelle.
A private family memorial service will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Rte.139, Marshfield, on Monday, November 14. Burial, with military honors, will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
