Halifax – Carol A. (Puchala) Faith 72 passed away unexpectedly Wednesday November 9. She was the beloved wife of Carroll B. “Carl” Faith.
Born and raised in New Bedford she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Mary (Sawyer) Puchala and a graduate of New Bedford High School.
Carol had been a long time resident of Brockton before her move to Halifax two years ago.
For several years Carol had worked for the former Brockton Savings Bank and later for the FDIC. After her retirement she was a familiar and welcome face as a longtime volunteer at the Brockton Hospital.
She enjoyed her time as a member of the “Red Hats” and the “Singing Seniors” both of Halifax.
In addition to her husband Carl she is survived by her loving children Paul Faith and his wife Mamie of Middleboro and Wendy Foley and her husband Michael of Halifax. She is also survived by her five grandchildren whom she adored Sean, Nicholas and Alana Foley and Benjamin and Eric Faith as well as twelve nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Paul Puchala.
Her services will be held Tuesday November 15 at 8 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel (Rte. 58 @ the Rotary) Whitman, followed by a funeral mass at 9 AM in Our Lady of the lake Church, Halifax. Burial will follow in the Central Cemetery, Halifax. Visiting hours will be held Monday November 14 from 4-8 PM.
