Charlotte Anne Rish, 87, Broxton, GA passed away at her daughter’s home on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 following an extended illness. Mrs. Rish was born in Osh Kosh, WI on October 22, 1924 to the late Herbert and Frances Kathryn Velte Zuehlke. She was preceded in death by her husband: Eldridge M. Rish, son: E. M. “Butch” Rish, daughter in law: Connie Rish and grandson: Jason Rish, Mrs. Rish was a licensed practical nurse who was employed by Coffee Regional Medical Center for 25 years and she was a member of the Reedy Branch Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Reedy Branch Baptist Church with interment following in the Reedy Branch Church Cemetery.
Survivors include: sons: Wayne (Barbara) Rish, Eddie (Linda) Rish and Archie (Marilyn) Rish all of Broxton, GA; daughter: Frances (Frank) Brown, Douglas, GA; sister: Elaine Penzenick, Akron, OH; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 10, 2011 and Friday, November 11, 2011 at Sims Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
