Sarah Elizabeth Vickers, 87, of Ambrose, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Berrien Nursing Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Vickers was born in Wray, GA to the late Richard and Nina Davis Lee on December 28, 1923. Mrs. Vickers was preceded in death by her husband: Buford Vickers, son: Larry Vickers, sister: Velma Lee Shrouder and brother: Vernon Lee. She was a homemaker and a member of Hebron Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Hebron Baptist Church with Rev. Casey Wright and Rev. Bobby Fussell officiating. Interment will follow in the Hebron Church Cemetery.
Survivors include: grandsons: Damon Lee Vickers and Christopher Larry Vickers both of Ambrose, GA; great grandson: Dawson Lee Vickers; brothers: Otha Lee, Kenneth Lee and Bill Lee all of Alapha, GA; several nieces and nephews.
