Lillian D. Tatro, 91, formerly of Woonsocket, died Tuesday. She was the wife of the late Eugene A. Tatro.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Bernadette (Boulard) Leclerc. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
In her early years Mrs. Tatro was employed at several area mills and later operated a catering business along with her late husband.
She was a longtime communicant of St. Joseph Parish and assisted with Coffee ‘An for many years.
She is survived by two daughters Doris Rosette of Cranston and Nancy Moison of Burrillville and a son, Albert Tatro, and his wife Diane, of Pawtucket. She was predeceased by all of her siblings. She is also survived by her grandchildren, David Rosette, Donna Pinard, Daniel Rosette, Douglas Rosette, Dawn Orr, Derek Moison and Jason Moison, 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:30 am in St. Joseph Church, Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are Friday morning from 9:00-10:00 am, prior to Mass, in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket.
