Obituary

James N. Follis, 74, of Franklin died November 8 in Norwood Hospital. He was the husband of Audrey (Desper) Follis.
Born in Boston, May 8, 1937, the son of the late Ernest and Eula (Parsons) Follis, Mr. Follis was raised in Norfolk and had lived in Franklin for over 50 years.
Mr. Follis had been a truck driver for the Clark Cutler and McDermott Company in Franklin for 35 years before retiring.
Mr. Follis served in the Navy during the Korean War attaining the rank of Seaman First Class.
He was a life member of the Franklin Rod and Gun Club.
He loved to hunt and fish.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Michael Follis and his wife Chalaine of Clemson, SC, Chris Follis and his wife Tammy of Easley, SC, Steven Follis and his wife Michelle of Mansfield and Brenda Heaton and her husband Timmy of Six Mile, SC.
He is also survived by his sisters Natalie Allen of California, Elaine Duquette of Florida and Donna Green of Colorado.
He was the brother of the late Richard, Charles and Ernest Benjamin Follis.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Sarah, Danielle, Justin, Keera, Darrien, Corey, Chelsea and Haley and his great-grandchildren Zachary and Jocelyn Corbin.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday November 12 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin from 11 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at later date.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
