Vincenza J. “Vinnie” Palma, 84 of Medford, died Tuesday unexpectedly in the Winchester Hospital, Winchester, MA.
Born in Italy she lived in Medford for the past 12 years and formerly of Somerville. She was the daughter of the late Caterina (Contardo) and Peter Marinello.
Vinnie was a Food Server at Freshman Dinning Hall at Harvard University for 20 years and retired in 1991.
Beloved wife of the late Richard Palma Sr. Devoted mother of Debbie Palma of Medford, Richard Palma Jr. and his wife Cathy of Reading, Peter Palma and his wife Liz of Florida, Joseph Maduri of Westford, and David Maduri of New Hampshire. Loving grandmother of Anthony and Nicole Palma. Sister of Dominic Marinello of Saugus and the late Josephine Maduri, Louis and Rocco Marinello. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford St., Somerville, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Friday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.
