Kathe C. Nerl, 75, of Derry, NH died Monday, November 7, 2011 at the Parkland Medical Center, Derry. She was born on September 19, 1936 in Germany, a daughter of the late Paul and Martha A. (Kind) Kluge. Mrs. Nerl held many jobs including working for the Derry News circulation department, Sunnycrest Farm and the former Hospital Pharmacy. She was an avid gardener, nature lover, and enjoyed visiting covered bridges. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph A. Nerl of Derry, four children, Ann Fitzgerald and her husband John of North Carolina, John Nerl and his wife Belinda of Londonderry, NH, Lisa Bethune and her husband Brian of Manchester, NH, Christine Faiella and her husband James of Chichester, NH, and seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by one grandchild.
Calling hours were held on Friday November 11th from 6 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday November 12th at 10:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry. Burial followed in Holy Cross Cemetery, Gilcreast Road, Londonderry.
