Antone R. Vieira, age 86 of Fall River, passed away Nov. 8, 2011. He was the husband of the late Irene (Souza) Vieira and the son of the late Manuel R. & Maria (Ferreira) Vieira. Prior to retiring, Antone worked as a Jig Operator for Capri Textile & formerly for Newport Finishing. He had also previously worked as a Dyer for River Edge Print Co. He was an avid fisherman and a parishioner of SS. Peter & Paul Parish at Holy Cross Church.
Antone was the father of Gail Jordan (husband Glenn) of Fall River, Robert Vieira (wife Anne) of NY, Nancy Vincelette (husband Roger) of FL, and the late David Anthony Vieira; brother of the late Serafin Rego, Mary Mello, & Sarah Dube; 10 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, & several nieces & nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River SATURDAY at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in SS. Peter & Paul Parish at Holy Cross Church, Pulaski St. at 9:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours FRIDAY 4-8 P.M.
