Elizabeth R. Powell of Provincetown died Friday, November 4, 2011 at Seashore Point Wellness Center after an illness. She was 96.
Born in Cleveland Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Jozef and Rose (Horvath) Mate. Mrs. Powell was a clerk for the US Postal Service before her retirement.
Sons Wayne B. Powell of Boston and Provincetown and Dale A. Powell of California survive her. She was predeceased by her husband, Boris Powell.
Friends are invited to call at the Gately Funeral Home, 94 Harry Kemp Way, Provincetown, on Saturday, November 12th from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Burial will be in Cleveland, Ohio.
