William “Bill” W. Ford, Jr.
Harlem, GA – William “Bill” W. Ford, Jr., 99, husband of the late Willie Ruth Ford, entered into rest on Thursday, November 3, 2011.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 7, 2011 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. Chapel with Rev. Dewain French officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Bill was a kind, generous and thoughtful grandfather, and the family was blessed that he was able to be a great grandfather. His passing will leave an absence in the family.
Survivors include his daughter, Shelby F. Walker and husband Alton of Harlem, GA, one granddaughter, Shelley Walker Barlow and husband Jake of Glen Ellyn, IL, four great grandsons, William J. Barlow, Benjamin W. Barlow, James A. Barlow, and Thomas E. Barlow, brother in law, James C. Clark of Evans, GA, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
