Evie A. Wooten, age 94 of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Spring Meadows.
Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Neal-Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Madewell and Rev. Derek Smith officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers.
Visitation will be Monday from 3 til 7 p.m. and Tuesday from 12 noon until the hour of service.
Evie was born March 5, 1917 in Cumberland City, TN. She was the daughter of Herman Adams and Blanche Boyd Adams. She was a Pharmacist Clerk for 44 years with Willoughby Drugs. She was a baptist and a member of Living Hope Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Aubrey Wooten.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda (Ernest "Tubb") Jarrrell of Clarksville; two brothers, Lee Adams of Bloomington, IL and Finis Adams of Buford, GA; four sisters, Gladys Crump of Granite City, IL, Jennie McElroy, Bette Morrow both of Clarksville and Maxine Duncan of Cleveland,TN Clarskville; two grandchildren, Darren Jarrell of Clarksville and Courtney Middleton of Leesburg, VA; six great grandchildren, Gretchen Jarrell, Amelia Jarrell, Garlyn Jarrell, Addison Middleton, Finley Middleton and Sloane Middleton.
