Son of the late Albert and Mary (Gill) Wilkinson. Brother of the late Elizabeth, Madelyn, and Robert. Father of Albert III and fiancee Janice Fiore, Thomas and wife Elaine, Michael and wife Tracey, and Jeffrey and wife Su. Grandfather of Michael C., Michael J., Ashton, Brittany, Matthew, Joshua , Alexander, and Sean. Uncle and Godfather of Deborah Wilkinson. Uncle of devoted niece Lynn Burke. Former father-in-law of Frances Wilkinson. Brother-in-law of Lionel and Sue McElroy, Alfred and Mona McElroy, Robert and Kathy McElroy, Lance and Janet Lefever, Richard and Mary McElroy, Charlotte Wilkinson, and the late Louis and Doris Pagnani. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. Retired from New England Telephone. Graduate of Commerce H.S., Jamaica Plain and Newbury Jr. College. Former Captain of Erin’s Hope Football Club, Former member of Dedham Retired Men’s Club, Former Commissioner of Dedham Retired Men’s Club Golf League, Former member of Greenlodge Valley Assoc., Member of the American Legion and Korean War Veteran, U.S. Navy. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Monday, Nov 7th. at 10am. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham at 11 o’clock.
