Antoinette Moorehead Edrington, age 101, died Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Yalobusha General Nursing Home in Water Valley, MS. Ms. Edrington was a former member of the Water Valley Garden Club and an active member of First United Methodist Church of Water Valley, MS. She lived a long, loving life and always had a positive attitude. She was a devoted Christian and had many friends of all ages. She will always be remembered for fondly calling everyone, "Dahlin".
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on Friday, November 4, 2011 in the Mizpah Cemetery, Durant, MS.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Water Valley, MS with Rev. Phillip Dearman and Rev. Jerry Beam officiating.
She is survived by her two granddaughters, Jamie and Elizabeth Edrington; a daughter-in-law, Betty Edrington; friends and caregivers, Odie and Janice Shuffield of Water Valley, MS.
Ms. Edrington was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Gregory Edrington and her son, James Ernest Edrington.
