LUNDBERG, Arvid J. “Arvy” of Hull and New Smyrna Beach, FL, died on October 31, 2011 surrounded by the family he cherished, he was 71. Beloved husband of Viola (Slaney) Lundberg. Father of Kerry Lundberg of NC, Wendy Nyberg of CA, Heidi Wolfe of Avon, Tammy Downes of Scituate, Greta Ehrstein of Hull, Pamela Morgan of Dorchester, Darrin Thomas of Rockland, and the late Barry Ehrstein. Loving brother to Laura Woodbury of New Hampshire, Robert White and Ellen Kimball, both from Hull, and Ernie White of Weymouth. Son of the late Arvid J. Lundberg and Henrietta (Myers) White. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
He is the owner of Northeast Builders Transport and E&L Transportation Brokers in Marshfield, MA. For many years, Arvy was an avid racing enthusiast and a race car owner. He also enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and his beloved yellow lab, the late Sunny Boy.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011 from 4 - 8pm in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street, Hingham.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 am on Saturday morning prior to his Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church on Saturday at 10am.
Burial in the Hull Village Cemetery.
