Obituary

Louise L. "Loretta" (Lema) Fisher, 67, of Dartmouth died Sunday at Rhode Island Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Harold B. "Bruce" Fisher, Jr.

Born in Taunton, the daughter of Louisa (Costa) Lima and the late Louis Lima, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.

She was a member of Jehovah's Witness.

Mrs. Fisher was formerly employed as a office clerk for Upper Deck, LTD in Fairhaven.

Survivors include her mother; three children, Stephen Lima of Fairhaven, René Andrade and her husband Hartmut of Dartmouth, and Jodilynn Machado and her husband Randy, Jr. of New Bedford; a sister, Irene Gomes of New Bedford; three grandchildren, Casandra Machado, Justyce Paulette and Randy Machado, III; a great-granddaughter, Jianna L. Alvarez; and nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and an uncle.

She was the sister of the late Leonard Lema.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 4 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visiting hours will be on Saturday from 1-4 PM prior to the service.
