Ethel (Norman) Emmett, 81, of New Bedford died March 6, 2004 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness.
She was the wife of the late Norman "Jake" Emmett and daughter of the late Percy Norman and Dora Hogarth.
Mrs. Emmett was born in Fall River and lived in New Bedford most of her life.
She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Emmett enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Cheryl Williams, and her husband Bruce, of Acushnet and Judy St. John, and her husband Ron, of New Bedford; 2 sisters, Viola Hoar of Assonet and Anita Ford of Texas; a brother, Luther Norman of New Bedford; 5 grandchildren, Rebecca Storer, Kim Trayner, Jennifer Miller, Jeffrey Williams and Mark Williams; 4 great-grandchildren, Sarah, Thomas, Shane and Rachel; several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in Grace Episcopal Church Tuesday, March 9th at 11 AM.
Visiting hours are private.
Interment Riverside Cemetery.
