Lydia Elizabeth Harris Wiggins, 70, of Ty Ty died Saturday, October 29, 2011, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. W. E. Fogarty will officiate with a private burial to be held at a later date. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Wiggins was born on December 28, 1940 in Tifton and was the daughter of Lonnie Harris and Betsy Burgess Harris, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bill Brown; one son, Allen Bentley; one daughter, Pam Howell; and one sister, Eloise Holton. She was retired from the Waffle House and a member of Unity Baptist Church. She loved dancing, coloring, her dog Baby Girl and, above all else, her family. She had lived her entire life in Tifton.
Mrs. Wiggins is survived by seven sons and their spouses, James C. Bentley and Jon C. Davis of Ty Ty, Curtis and Connie Bentley of Ty Ty, Chris and Julie Brown of Ashburn, David and Joyce Brown of Ty Ty, Avery Brown of Ty Ty, Thomas and Heather Cooper of Ty Ty and Dewayne and Mandie Vickers of Ty Ty; one daughter, Ann Burke of Ty Ty; one brother, Clevas Harris of Tifton; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
