Petra Rodriguez (June 8, 1936-October 28, 2011), Went to be with the Lord on October 28th, 2011 following a long illness. She was 75. Petra was a long-time resident of Taunton, MA. Born and raised in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, she moved to Boston in 1976. She was a homemaker. Petra was married to the late Pedro Marquez, and had six children. She leaves behind her current husband, Norberto Deliz and her six children; Rafael Rivera, Wilson Rivera, Jorge L. Leon, Betzaida (Betsy) Rodriguez, Blanca Marquez and Carlos Marquez. She enjoyed a game of dominoes, coffee, and the company of her many grandchildren, children, and friends. She was a devoted Christian and faithful admirer of the Virgin Mary. Visiting hours will be held at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St.(Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Sunday, October 30th, 2011 from 6-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday October 31 at 12:00 PM, followed by procession to Oak Lawn Cemetery at 1:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited.
