Lorraine F. (Holmes) Pineau, 78, of Natick, passed away on October 28, 2011. She was the beloved wife of William J. Pineau with whom she shared 55 years of marriage and mother of the late Mary Elizabeth Pineau.
Born in Brockton, the daughter of the late William A. and Mary E. (Good) Holmes, Lorraine was raised and educated in Marlborough. She dedicated her life to caring for her family with great love and also found great satisfaction in volunteering at the Natick Visiting Nurse Association.
In addition to her husband, Lorraine is survived by her children, Janice L. Reid of Holden, Louis W. Pineau and his wife Joyce of Bellingham, Thomas J. Pineau of Natick; her grandchildren, Joseph W. Pineau, Diana M. Pineau, Michael W. Pineau, David J. Pineau, Kevin L. Pineau, and Nicholas B. Reid; and her great-grandson, Andrew J. Bischoff. She was the sister of Marialice Reilly of Fayville, Barbara Donaldson and her husband Harold of Sterling, Thomas Holmes and his wife Catherine of North Grafton, and the late John and William Holmes; and sister-in-law of Theodora “Dotty” Holmes of Marlborough, Phyllis Holmes of Hudson, Joseph Pineau and his wife Angelina of Hopkinton, Anita Howard of Lowell, and Tom Malloy of Natick. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Lorraine’s funeral service in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) NATICK on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at 4:00 PM. Visiting hours will be held from 12:00 – 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to the Natick VNA, 209 West Central St. Natick, MA 01760.
