Virginia L. (Davidson) Elwell, 83, of Natick, passed away unexpectedly on October 22, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth Elwell who passed away in 1968. Born in Newton on July 18, 1928 Virginia was the daughter of the late Alexander and Vivian (Guilford) Davidson. She was raised and educated in Newton and went on to study at Wellesley College. Virginia was employed as a claims representative for the Allstate Insurance Company and enjoyed spending time on Martha's Vineyard and playing golf. She leaves behind 2 children, Cynthia Cook of Holliston and Scott Elwell and his wife Shannon of San Diego, CA; 2 grandchildren, Kenneth Goldstein of Townsville, Australia and Darryl St. George of Holliston; and 1 great-grandson, Devon St. George of Medway. Virginia was pre-deceased by her sister Sylvia Stirling. In accordance with Virginia's wishes funeral services will be private.
