Kathryn G. White, 88, of Sanford, Florida, died Sunday, October 23, 2011, at the home of her daughter in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 11 A.M., Saturday at Oak Lawn Park Cemetery in Sanford, Florida. The Family will receive form 5 to 7 PM, Friday, at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home in Sanford, Florida.
Mrs. White was born April 19, 1923 in Sanford, Florida to the late Merril and Ruby Humphrey Ginder. She lived with her daughter in Fitzgerald for the past six years. Mrs. White was a former employee of Florida State Bank in Sanford, Florida and retired after twenty-five years as lunchroom manager for the Seminole County Board of Education. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sanford, FL. Mrs. White was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her sons, David G. & Linda White of Sanford, FL and John S. & Libby White, IV of Sierra Vista, Arizona; daughter, Jane W. Szoke of Fitzgerald; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John St. Clair White, III.
