Obituary

Quinlan B. Junta of Reading, died suddenly on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington. He was 21 years old.

Quinlan was born in Melrose on November 28, 1989 to Michele (Barrett) and Thomas F. Junta. He grew up in Reading where he attended Barrows Elementay School, Parker Middle School and graduated from Reading Memorial High School in 2008. He attended Bridgeton Academy in Maine as a post graduate student in 2009. Quinlan was a proud member of the Reading Memorial High School Hockey Team who captured the state hockey title in the Super Eight Tournament in 2008. He enjoyed being an instructor for a summer hockey camp for girls in the high school and college levels.

Quinlan is the loving son of Michele (Barrett) Junta and Thomas F. Junta. He is the devoted brother of Kendall Junta. He is the beloved grandson of Joann Barrett and Mary Junta and the late Samuel Junta. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Quinlan's Funeral on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 9 a.m. from The Carr Funeral Home, 1159 Main St. Melrose followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Wood End Cemetery in Reading. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m.
