Obituary

Rochdale-Gail S. (Bartlett) LeClair, 67, of Rochadale left us to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 24th, 2011 in her home after a very long illness. She was much stronger than we all thought and lived longer than her doctor’s gave her.
She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Paul R.A. LeClair, Sr. who died in 2008. She leaves a daughter, Christina L. Roberts and her husband, Joseph of Rochdale; a son, Paul R.A. LeClair, Jr. and his wife, Stephanie with whom she lived; a brother, Edward Bartlett of Florida; a sister, Carol Sherman and her husband, Dick of Marlboro; 8 grandchildren and a great granddaughter, Abigail. She will be especially missed by her two grandsons, Joseph and Corey Roberts and her granddaughter, Maranda LeClair. She was predeceased by a daughter, Laurinda (LeClair) Quinn who died in 2008 and a sister, Ruth Wall who died in 2006.
She was born in Plymouth the daughter of Edward and Catherine (Weichel) Bartlett. She was a member of St. Aloysius/St. Jude Parish in Leicester and enjoyed attending weekly service and any special Mass. Gail loved to play yahtzee and solitaire. She treasured her little dogs, Jake and Katie.
Gail’s family would like to send a special Thank you to Dr. Allan Ramey and his staff for all of their fine care during her years of illness, the St. Aloysius/St. Jude Parish family for their unending prayers and the Ladies Guild for always remembering her with cards of comfort and good cheer. These things did make a difference in her life.
The funeral will be on Friday, October 28th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Aloysius/St. Jude Church, 491 Pleasant Street. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be on Thursday, October 27th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Aloysius/St. Jude Parish, 491 Pleasant Street, Leicester, MA 01524.
