Fox, John P. of Norwood, formerly of Jamaica Plain, died peacefully in his home with his family, October 23, 2011. Beloved husband of Helen R. (Cole) Fox. Loving father of Donna M. Fox of South Weymouth, Susan White and her husband Walter of Weymouth, John P. “Jack” Fox of Nashua, NH, and Ellen Troland and her husband Douglas of Holliston. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Loving brother of the late Daniel, James and Anna.
Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY on Thursday October 27, at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Visiting hours in the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
Former employee of the New England Telephone Co.
Recipient of the Theodore N. Vail Award for Bravery while on the job. Mr. Fox was an avid Boston Sports fan, and loved reading.
Member of the American Legion Post 76, Jamaica Plain.
