WEBSTER - Louis E. Jankowski, 95, of 3 Kenneway Lane, died Wednesday, March 3, at home. His wife of 38 years, Malvina R. (Chauvin) Jankowski, died in 1978.
He leaves a brother, Carl P. Jankowski of Dudley, and several nieces and nephews.
He was born in Dudley, son of the late Jacob and Anna (Tschierzy) Jankowski and lived here all his life.
Mr. Jankowski was employed as a lens polisher at American Optical Co., retiring in 1974; before that, he was worked as a spinner at Maanexit Spinning Co. He enjoyed golfing, gardening and reading National Geographic.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 6, at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street. Burial is private. Donations may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 18 East Main Street, Webster, MA 01570. Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, is directing arrangements.
