Edward T. Haddad, 86 of Medford, died Wednesday after a long illness in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford, MA.
Born in Boston, he lived in Medford most of his life and was the son of the late Sarah (Milkey) and Peter Haddad. Edward was a retired Real Estate Agent in the Medford/Somerville area for many years. He was a member of the Fernald League for Retarded Persons, Human Rights for the Fernald School and served on several other committees at the school. Edward also served during World War II in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1947.
Beloved husband of Jeanette ”Dolly” (Visconti) Haddad. Devoted father of Edward T. Haddad Jr. and his wife Denise of Lowell, Peter J. Haddad and his wife Sharon of West Haven, CT, Tina M. Ovalle and her husband Michael of Everett. Loving grandfather of Edward III, Teresa, Billy Don, Regina, Eva, Michael Jr., and Lucas. Loving great grandfather of Bella. Brother of the late Winifred Warr, John and George Haddad.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday evening at 7 pm.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Friday 3-8.
Interment will be private.
