Henry Travers, age 88 of Fall River, passed away Oct. 18, 2011. He was the husband of the late Gilberta (Lindo) Travers and the son of the late John & Yvonne (Bean) Travers. Prior to retiring, Henry worked as an inspector for Lightolier and previously he worked at the Sagamore Mills. He was a parishioner of St. Michael Church.
Henry was the father of the late Elaine Smith, the late Judith Cabeceiras, the grandfather of the late Heath Millward, & the brother of the late Arthur, Earl, Norman & James Travers. He is survived by two daughters Cynthia Mello & husband Roger of Taunton & Florida, Pamela Butler & husband Wayne of Taunton, MA; grandfather of Dawn Unian & husband James of Preston, CT, Dwaine Cabeceiras & wife Patricia of Westport, MA, Shayne Millward & wife Tammy of Taunton, MA, Scott Smith & wife Diata of NH, Eric & Jonathan Butler of Taunton, & Kyle Smith of Somerset, & 9 Great grandchildren along with several nieces & nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on SATURDAY at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours FRIDAY 5-8 P.M.
