Eva (Arruda) Rosa, age 95 passed away October 18, 2011. Born in Fall River, she was the widow of Manuel “Pat” Rosa and daughter of the late Augustine and Amelia (Amaral) Arruda. She retired in 1973 after working at Lamport Mfg. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church.
Eva was the mother of Manuel “Butch” Rosa (wife Patricia) of Fall River and the late Patricia Ann Rosa; sister of the late Alfred, Manuel, Antone and Edward Arruda and the late Mary Oliveira, Antoinette Cabral and Beatrice Paquin; grandmother of David Rosa, step grandmother of David Mello, great grandmother of 4 and an aunt to many nieces ands nephews and great aunt to many great nieces and great nephews. She also leaves 4 sister-in-laws.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St., Fall River FRIDAY with calling hours from 8:30 to 10:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Trinity Church at 11:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
