WORCESTER-Dorothy T. (Hutchins) Kasala, 99, formerly of Colonial Garden, Southboro and Millbury Avenue, Millbury died Tuesday, March 2nd in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband of 73 years, Julius J. Kasala died in 2002. She leaves a son, Edward J. and his wife Jean Kasala of Pittsfield, 5 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Chesley, Everett and Arthur Hutchins and 4 sisters, Marion, Alice, Eleanor and Lillian.
She was born in Leominster the daughter of Everett and Jennie (Mahan) Hutchins. Mrs. Kasala was an inspector at the former Millbury Thread Company for many years. She enjoyed square dancing and traveling.
The funeral is Friday, March 5th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 10:30 AM in St. John’s Church, 40 Temple Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, March 4th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
