Jessie MacDonald Vaisin, 69, passed away peacefully at home on October 16th after a valiant battle with cancer.
Jessie was born in Netherburn, Scotland on February 27th 1942 the daughter of the late Jessie and William Miller.
She is survived by her husband Jay whom she married on October 4th 1969 and together had just celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary; her daughter Heather & son in law Leo Roche; and the two greatest joys in her life, her grandchildren MaggieMae & Ian Roche; and her sister of Wilma Dempsey, Ireland.
In addition to her parents, she was sadly predeceased by her loving son, Jay, and sisters Annie Rennie & Margaret Currie.
Jessie's family will greet relatives & friends at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Thursday from 6-8 pm. A graveside service will be held at Elm Grove Cemetery, Rte. 27, Mystic on Friday at 11am. The Rev. Mark Porizky, Pastor of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Groton, will officiate.
