Joseph S. Fitzpatrick age 67 of Canton passed away October 17th at Orchard Cove in Canton. Born and raised in Boston, he graduated from Dorchester High School. He worked as a Letter Carrier for the Sharon Post Office for many years before retiring in 2003. He had lived in Canton for the last 35 years where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #2095. Beloved husband of the late Karen L. (Frankenhauser). Father of Michael J. Fitzpatrick of N.H. and Elaine M. Barry of Stoughton. Brother of Elizabeth Mulford and her husband George of FL, Francis J. and his wife Mary of Falmouth, Robert A. and his wife Genevieve of FL, Boyce L. of VA, Marie Spear and her husband Peter of Belmont and Josephine Holubiak and her husband Thomas of Waltham. Cherished grandfather of Emily, Megan and Timothy Barry, Samantha Lebaron and Allison Fitzpatrick. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Friday morning at 10:30. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton.
