Obituary

Whitman – Pamela Jean (Hickey) Farley, 40, of Whitman died suddenly, Sunday the 16th of October. She was the wife of Thomas B. Farley, married 17 of the 25 years they spent together.

Raised in Rockland, Pam was the daughter of Albert G. Hickey of Revere and Nancy M. Hickey of Whitman.

Pam had been a resident of Whitman for 17 years and was very involved in youth sports along with being a member of the youth football board and a youth cheerleading advisor/coordinator.

She had worked for many years at the Whitman VFW and also the Whitman Middle School.

Everyone near and dear to Pam always knew she would be there to lend a hand at a moments notice. Pam was a loving mother who found great joy in spending time with her family and friends. Anyone who was blessed to know Pam knew what a bubbly, selfless, beautiful person she was.

In addition to her husband Tommy, Pam is survived by her four loving children, Michael A. Hickey, Brittany L., Jeffrey T. and Katelyn E. Farley; her mother Nancy M. Hickey of Whitman; her father Albert G. Hickey of Revere, her brother David A. Hickey and his wife Amy of Whitman; her father & mother-in-law Thomas F. and Sharron A. Farley of East Bridgewater; and her sister-in-law Jennifer L. Cummings and her husband Chris M. of Whitman. Pam will also be greatly missed by her loving grandson Jaiden M. Hickey and three adoring nephews; D. Blake, Cylas D. and Liam D. Hickey; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Pam’s life at her service to be held Friday October 21 at 10 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Visiting hours will be held Thursday October 20 from 4-8 PM.
