Taylor, Dorothy J. (Turner), 92, of Louisville passed away Friday October 14, 2011.
Dorothy was a native of Monroe, Co., KY and a member of Shively Baptist Church.
She had retired from the Jefferson Co. P.V.A office, formerly was a beautician and loved sewing.
Preceded by her husband of 53 years, Jesse J. Taylor.
Survivors include her daughter, Lexie Elizabeth Wilson; two grandchildren, Kimberly E. Wilson and John Taylor Wilson (Tonya Milby); five great grandchildren, Matthew, Mark, Tyler, Jared and James.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm CST Monday at the Strode Funeral Home in Gamaliel, KY. with burial in Gamaliel Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 – 5:00 pm Sunday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. and after 11:00 am Monday at the Strode Funeral Home.
