JOSHI Pooran C. Ph.D of Dedham formerly of Nanital, India Oct. 14, 2011. Beloved husband of Saroj (Agarwala) Joshi for 46 years. Devoted father of Sandeep K. Joshi and his wife Kimberly of N.H. Loving grandfather of Mason D. and Harrison R. Joshi.
Son of the late Shree Krishna and Mohini Devi Joshi. Pooran earned a Ph.D in Botany from Delhi University in India. He was a professor at Northeastern University from 1969-1976. Later he founded and was president of Sci-Tech International Inc.
Visiting hours will be held in the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home 456 High St. DEDHAM on Monday from 4-8PM. The Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday at 10AM in the funeral home. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
