TAUNTON – Rose M. (Lima) Fitzgerald, wife of the late Robert F. “Little Bob” Fitzgerald, died at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston on October 11, 2011.
She was 88.
Born in Plymouth, Mrs. Fitzgerald was the daughter of the late Manuel and Alexandrine (Martin) Lima.
She was educated in Plymouth schools.
A retired manager, she was employed by Texas Instruments for many years and was a communicant of St. Andrew the Apostle Church.
Mrs. Fitzgerald leaves two nephews, William Paul of Taunton and Robert Paul of Warwick, RI.
She was also the sister of the late Mary B. Paul.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Tuesday, Oct. 18th at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 9 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday, Oct. 17th from 4 to 7 p.m.
