Funeral services for Bonita Faye Fowler Elias, 51, of Sycamore, Ga. will be held Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at the Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Elias died Tuesday in Emory University Hospital following a sudden illness.
Mrs. Elias was born in Ashburn, Ga. and was the daughter of the late John David and Dorothy Wilson Fowler of Sycamore, Ga. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Shawn Martinez.
She is survived by one son, Herman Lamar Fletcher, Jr., Ashburn, Ga., daughters, Patricia Fletcher, Tifton, Ga., Christina Delgado, Adrienne Delgado, and Brittany Delgado, all of Sycamore, Ga. Also surviving is her mother Dorothy W. Fowler, and one sister, Audrey Fowler Rogers, both of Sycamore, Ga. and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:00 P.M., Sunday at the Bethel Baptist Church.
