TRIPPEDA, Charles Jr., 84, died on October 11, 2011 in Port St. Lucie, FL.
Mr. Trippeda was born in Bronx, NY and moved to Ft. Pierce 22 years ago coming from Teaneck, NJ. Prior to retirement, he was a CPA. He graduated from Stuyvesant High School and then from New York University. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, member of the Sons of Italy for 22 years and loved boating. Survivors include his wife, Mary Trippeda of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, Richard Trippeda of Saddle Brook, NJ; daughters, Mildred Markowski of Langhorne, PA and Maryellen Trippeda of Chesilhurst, NJ; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosemary Rosin of Seaford, NY and Dorothy Diblasi of West Islip, NY. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Trippeda, III. Friends and family are invited for visitation on Friday, October 14th, from 6-9 PM at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ. Funeral service to begin on Saturday at 9 AM from the funeral home and then to Church of The Madonna, Fort Lee, NJ for a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow in Madonna Cemetery.
