Obituary

SEABROOK, NH: Generosa “Jennie” (Criscuolo) LeVie, 87, went home to the Lord, Tuesday, October 11, 2011 in the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, New Hampshire following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Harry J. LeVie, who died in January 2009.
Born in New Haven, Connecticut on August 1, 1924, She was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Giovannino (DeLise) Criscuolo. She had resided in Gloucester for sixty-five years before moving to Seabrook to be near her daughter in 2005.
Jennie was employed as a secretary at the former Mighty Mac in Gloucester for twenty-six years before retiring in 1982. Jennie and Harry could often be found walking the boulevard and were known affectionately by many as “The Walkers.”
She is survived by her daughter, Ann E. Small and her companion, Francis Beaulieu of Seabrook, two grandchildren, Lorrie Ann and her husband, Danny O’Brien and Thomas and his wife, Jeannette Small; three great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kyle O’Brien and Kennett and his wife, Deanna Colby; a great-great-granddaughter, Sophia Marie Colby; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Vincent James and Maryanne Criscuolo and Joseph and Mary Criscuolo and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by six brothers, Louis, Peter, Andrew, Frank, Alphonse, Jr. and Mario Criscuolo.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday in the Holy Family Parish, St. Ann Church, Pleasant Street, Gloucester at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Monday in the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester from 5 – 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Interment will be held in the Beechbrook Cemetery, W. Gloucester. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Hyder Family Hospice House, 285 County Farm Rd., Dover, NH 03820.
