TEWKSBURY - Mrs. Theresa D. Kowalski, age 81, a resident of Tewksbury for the past 35 years, died peacefully Monday evening, October 10, at Woodbrier of Wilmington, after a long period of declining health.
She was born in Boston, September 28, 1930, one of seven children of Francis and Grace Ippolitto. She was raised in East Boston, and graduated from East Boston High School. She moved to Tewksbury in 1973. Prior to retirement, she worked as a buyer for the D.R.C. Company in Andover.
Mrs. Kowalski was a communicant of St. William's Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Theresa Russo of Tewksbury, Deborah Kowalski of Concord, and Mary Ann Carlson and her husband Glenn of Tewksbury; five grandchildren, John Russo, Christian Lillyman, Nicole Lillyman, Cassandra Carlson, Jenna Carlson; one great grandson John Nicholas Porto: and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her six siblings.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated October 14, in St. William's Church, 1351 Tewksbury. Burial followed in St. Mary Cemetery, No. Tewksbury. Memorials to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701, will be appreciated.
